Both males and females have a high chance of fighting if they're strangers.

You need to introduce them first to reduce stress and possibilities for fights.

As long as they are of the same s*x, and you introduce them on neutral territory, it's fine.  I have 6 guinea pigs living together, and none of them knew each other before I adopted them.  Guinea pigs love having friends, though they're not really affectionate to their 'herd'. (They don't groom each other like rabbits do.)

well it depends if they are female or male the females should be fine but i don't think the males will be ok
