  1. No, Two isoquants interescting means that there can be the same points (intersecting points) on two different isoquants of two different levels of ouput from the same combination of inputs. This is a logical absurdity. Not possible in theory or practice.  If this happens, it means that the input - output calculations / information has gone wrong somewhere (mistake) and needs to be checked and corrected.


  2. No, they can't intersect.  If they did, it would mean that the same combination of inputs produces two technically efficient (maximum) levels of output, which is not possible
