  1. Hi YesH

The only way that would happen is if you have an intercepted sign in a house,. That would mean that the sign of the cusp of that house would have the sign cusp ruler, plus the ruler of the intercepted sign.

    Ex.

You have Cancer in 2nd house and Leo interecepted in there. That would make Moon and Sun ruler of that house.

With this scenario, you would also have one sign ruling two houses at the same time as well as its opposite sign.

  2. No, because the cusp of the sign defines the cusp of the house. However, one planet can rule two signs, if that is what you are thinking about...

  3. Well, she has a point. The house is ruled by the sign on the cusp, but one house can occupy more than one sign.

Think of two concentric circles. The outer circle represents the twelve signs of the zodiac, all within a 360 degree circle, each one consisting of 30 degrees.

The inner circle represents your 12 houses. Although within the 360 circle, each house is not exactly thirty degrees.

So, depending upon the size of your houses, they coud occupy more than one sign.

For example, your first house could begin at 20 degrees Sagittarius and extend into Capricorn. However, that house is ruled by Sagittarius.

    Hope this helps.
