I have a wireless router for my broadband and I recently purchased a receiver and transmitter which is also wireless to use with my sky box and my tv upstairs. They seem to interfere with each other. Any suggestions?

  1. Try changing the channel of your router (not as stupid as it sounds)

go to the router setup page, in vista u can do this by going start>network and then right click on your router and click go to setup page.

in xp, consult the user manual or google it, it may involve typing an IP address into a Browser

once at the router setup page, try changing the channel, all routers are differnet so i cant help u with this

beware some routers are locked by the internet provider to a single channell, for instance sky will not let you change ANYTHING....it is annoying!

    hope it helps!
