  1. ure born with dyslexia dumbass no offence1!!!!!=]

  2. you are good at writing?

    Where's the proof?

  3. I dont think you can catch it. I think ou have to already have it. I have it I know that haha.

  4. no. you are born with it. its a genetically passed learning disability. you arent going to "get" it from someone else, or later in life.but if someone in your immediate family has it, there is a chance you can have it as well. you can have a professional test you to find out, and then you can get assistance that will help you overcome the problems of dyslexia.

  5. No

There are different degrees & categories of dyslexia too

  6. The simple answer is no, you can't catch it.

Dyslexia is something you are born with, and as it is thought to be an inherited disorder it is likely that other family members will have a similar problem.

  7. I have a very good friend who suffers from dyslexia and he, for many years, has pursued a highly successul career in advertising work with a newspaper.

You are clearly good with words - it's the setting down of words on paper that sometimes gives you a problem - this happens to me a lot when my thoughts are running faster than my hand - or my keying - as the case may be.  I am constantly correcting what I key - especially when I am impatient to get stuff down and done!

I once taught myself to write neatly, after my handwriting had become so bad nobody could read it any more!   I combined this with a course I was doing that required me to write essays - using pen and paper!

It took ages, but by deliberately forming each letter, slowly at first, as if I was 'learning to write for the first time', I found I COULD write neatly - and soon got faster at it!

I don't know for sure, but might this style of approach work with some forms of dyslexia?   Taking extra care over the formation of words - and taking extra time to look at the 'appearance and shape' of words - do they 'look' right, as it were!

Hope this is helpful.    Well done for having the courage to ask your question, and take no notice of those too stupid to treat your question with the great respect it deserved.

    There will always be fools!

  8. No. You can not catch dyslexia.

  9. Sounds like too much texting to me. You take short-cuts in writing, because you can, but others judge you by how careless you are not to use spell checks, punctuation and capital letters. Slow down and proofread you writing. Carry a spell checker~ 19 dollars and look up words you need to spell correctly. You can't cure dyslexia but you can know what problems you usually make and check for them.

  10. I never use words that I cant spell!

  11. I always get my left and right mixed up, and sometimes my spelling goes wrong. I am not dysexic, just a little distracted sometimes.

  12. Firstly, dyslexia is a problem with 'decoding' words, - reading, not writing.  What you are talking about is called 'dysgraphia.'  The answer is no, you cannot catch it, - you can however acquire it at any time during your life, though brain injury.

  13. No you cannot develop dyslexia. Dyslexia is a condition you are born with.
