  1. There is no age that you're supposed to turn before you're allowed to shave!

Just start shaving when you feel the unwanted hair that is too much. Don't shave if there is hardly any wanted hair because you'll only make it look like a guy's prickly beard sooner!

  2. I know people will probably Not like this,, BUT,, For Females shaving is not really necessary at all. With women it is a matter of personal preferance & how much they want to have something else to whinge about "having"to do For men.  With Males,it is different.  Men do Have to shave, even the ones who grow a beard have to shave.  This starts when the boy first begins to grow Real Whiskers, not baby fluff. Starting too early is Worse!  It only makes the whiskers Grow stronger & faster making shaving a real chore & one that has to be done more often!!

  3. By the time u start havin hair. Maybe at 10.

  4. When ever you want. Just remeber once you start you will need to shave every few days. I waited too long and regreted it as got teased.Started at 13 and a 1/2. Its one of the few harmless things you can do to feel ' grown up' .

  5. As long as you have hair, you can shave.

  6. When you start getting hair in your pits or face, shave. Until you get it count your blessings

  7. It all depends upon the person but once you start it is a life sentence so leave it as long as possible. Obviously if you end up with unsightly body hair then that is the time to start.

Obviously as a female you will probably worry about it more than us chaps. You see when I don't have to work or go out somewhere posh I just refuse to shave.

Of course there are limits on what areas of the body you HAVE to shave, if you get my drift.

  8. When you start growing excessive hair on your body in unsightly places. For guys on the face, for girls on the legs and under the arms.

We all grow differently, thus we all would start shaving differently.

I started when i shaving was like 16-17. Back when i was in high school many many years ago i was in wrestling. For some stupid reason back then if you wanted to play high school  sports you couldnt have any facial hair or long hair in my school district. (And this was back in the 80s, the days of the hair metal bands!). I had a very thin mustache-really it was just a little fuzz if anything. They made me shave it! How insane is that?

  9. you can be any age to shave but remember that once you start you cant ever stop and as you continue to do it you will ruin your skin.

i wish i never started .. as every time you shave your hair will grow back more and more thicker and longer.. so you will end up with the homer simpson complex meaning: no matter how much you shave you can still see the hair because the hair is so thick.

Also when you shave two hairs will grow back in the same one hair hole (sounds strange but its unfortunatly true)

so since you have never shaved you have smooth, silky, thin hairs with one hair per hair hole .. once you begin to shave regulary rather than the hairs growing back the way it was you will instead be greated by two hairs in that one hair hole.. creating very thick ugly looking hairs.

Shaving also helps to promote in grown hair.

(im not sure how this happens but i do know it happens due to shaving)

its when the hair doesnt grow straight out of the skin and instead grows and bends back into the skin .. creating a lump in the area and the pain is unbelievable. (this has happened to every single person i know men and women so you shouldnt say, well maybe that wont happen to me because theres a 99%chance it will) and depending on your skin colour it could actually scare that area for life.

every time you shave it removes the top layer of your skin, FACT.. which every time you shave makes the area very sore and itchy .. the area you shaved will only stop itching once the hair has grown back.

and because you keep taking the top layer of your skin off you end up damaging your skin .. where it will look and feel sore and get extremely dry!

hair removals cremes are as bad as shaving .. as it does exatcly the same thing but since its chemicals used to burn the hairs away it ruins your skin even more as it burns through the skin (that happened to me .. and the burns scared me for life)

    - My advice to you is to trim the hairs with siccors

    OR

    wax

    OR

if you want the hair gone you should tweeze the hairs out one by one with a tweexer

    OR

invest in an epilator, which is an electronic tweezer that pulls out tons of hairs at the same time.

(which will be painful but when used doesnt ruin your skin and you will notice your hairs growing back thiner and smoother each time .. plus every time you take the hair from the root it should take 6weeks to grow back meaning that you will do less hair removing but with shaving you will have to do it every two days.

i personally wouldnt allow my child to shave until they reach 16 .. this will give them the chance to learn which hair removal procedure is best for them when they are older and it will also help maintain their beautiful fresh youthful skin till they are older .. when they need it most!

  10. i was 9 when i started but its all up to the person

  11. I think the question should be...how hairy do you have to be?

  12. I started when I was 11.

I guess when it's long enough is the right time. lol

it all kind of depends on how you feel about it.

  13. There is no set age.  It all depends on how much hair on your body you have.  I would say that you are old enough if you asking this question, as it is on your mind and it seems to be disturbing you.

I am sure your mom won't mind.  It's not like your asking, at what age should I get a tattoo.

  14. There is no age

Starting to shave will not hurry up beard growth; it will only make the bum fluff that is there stand out more

    Let your body tell you.

  15. Around 12 or 13, depending on the person usually.  Some people with thin, fair hair can wait a bit longer.  My hair is dark and thick so I started around 12.  If you are a female and you haven't started by the time you get your period, start then to avoid fuzzy legs and smelly under arms.  If you are a male and you haven't started by the time your voice begins to crack, start then to avoid a patchy face as your facial hair comes in.

  16. what part of your body?

  17. its when ever you feel ready. my mum gave me a razor when i was about 9 and said do what you want. i didnt use it for a while and i waited till i was ready. its like most things in life. there is no set time

  18. When your old enough for the hair to be a problem for you.

Everyone matures at different ages so there is no set age. But a 13 year old or older should be able to make that decision.

  19. if you have real noticeable hairs (on legs, armpits) then you should shave...

unless you're 8.....then don't shave talk to your mother about it and ask her does she think you should shave

i started when i was about 13 but i started my period and everything when i was about 11...

  20. Puberty- there is no age, but the signs.  So if you are getting "hairy" ask your mother to set up up.

  21. My mom was a ***** and made me wait until my thirteenth birthday.  Which was sort of cruel, because in middle school, girls made fun of other girls who didn't shave their legs.

I wore jeans or leggings to avoid getting picked on.

  22. There is no specific age for shaving or nonshaving.  It depends on you.  I'll assume that you're a girl.  If you wear clothing that shows your armpits and/or legs and you feel uncomfortable showing hair to the people around you, go ahead, shave.  Shaving gives you a neater, smoother, cleaner look.

If you shave, however, be sure you know how.  Have an experienced person supervise you or at least give advice.

I have a few tips right now: Never shave when your skin's dry.  Lather it with soap, water, and/or shaving cream.  Never use broken or old blades, as they will hurt like h**l.  New blades are best.  Shave slowly and carefully.  Rinse with water.  Check over for any missed spots.

  23. there is no age. but it's better to wait like your a girl so legs and armpits is ok depending if u have hair there or not.

don't shave your arms you will regret it!!

    trust me.

  24. It depends on the person. I started when I was 13.

  25. Dame, you're an idiot, she's a girl, not a guy. She doesn't have a beard.

Whenever you feel comfortable and the need to.
