  1. of course you can. After high school my husband had an opportunity to take a great job and work on building his career that way instead of doing the traditional college route. About a 6 months after we got married he decided to go back. He took his general courses online through a community college and then transferred them to the University. He's in a program for working adults, that offers his major courses at night so they won't interfere with his job. He is graduating with a B.S. in May and we have been married the entire time!

  2. Of course, why not. marriage should not interfere with your education. after all it will be to better you and your future wife financial status

  3. Yes of course you can, I'm 33 years old and I've been married for 13 years and have 5 children. I've done about 5 courses in Tafe and I'm enrolling at Uni next year to do my Masters in Teaching.

  4. In case you have never seen stats- being married and attending college is as common as gas prices rising.  I am truly surprised that you don't personally know someone who is doing both.  I was married the entire time I attended college (from 2002-2006) and have now been graduated for over 2 years.  Majority of those attending the college I went to were married as well.  In case you were wondering, you can also work full time and attend college, I did that too.  It's not easy- but it can be done.  As a result I made it though debt free.

  5. of course you can. Many people go back to college after getting married to get better jobs.

  6. Of course you can.  Some colleges have family dorms with full, multi-bedroom apartments so that married couples can go to the same school.

What?  Did you think that college was just for horny teenagers who want to get away from mommy and daddy?

  7. Yes you can do both.

  8. I am in college right now and am married plus have 2 small children so YES it is possible

  9. my wife did. and now she's an rn making alot more than me.

and now that she made it, now Im going to school for the same thing.

    pretty cool huh?

  10. Yes, it's possible.

  11. yeah I know a lot of married people in my college...and you get more financial aid being married than single.

  12. Yup.  I see it all the time.  Some schools used to provide special housing for married students, rather than have them live together in the dorm.  Other married students just got an apartment or rented a house.

  13. yes you can i did attend college, and be married i attended college we raised four children and i even had a part time job while attending.  it was alot of hard work but wouldnt trade it for anything.

  14. yeah

  15. My sister went back to college and she's married. She's 38.

  16. Sure you can ~ probably will have to live off-campus, unless your college has couples housing available.  It wil be nice to have a compatible study buddy,  but  it's for life ~ !

  17. I  used  to  have  a  friend  who  worked  full  time  and  went  to  college  part  time.  It  took  her  about  7  yrs.  to  finally  graduate.  She  had  no  problem  about  it  taking  so long,  and  just  being  a  part  time  student.  Better  keep  up  with  your  paper  work  tho.
