Yes, it is possible to blackout from one drink. As previously stated by another answerer, it may depend on certain health conditions the person drinking has. It can also simply depend on your alcoholic tolerance. Some people simply do not have a strong tolerance for alcohol. Too much alcohol in your system is literally poisoning your body, however, most people's bodies fight back by throwing up, needing a lot of rest, or even diaherra.
