help im trying to find a friend ion yahoo andswars and i know her name but how can i look up her on here?

You probably are going to need more information than her name.

You can TRY to look up a Y/A user profile with her Y/A nickname  - put in the terms Yahoo! Answers, then her nickname. Sometimes that provides a list of results that includes Y/A profiles.

However, if you have another way to contact this person, then you should probably just ask her for the web address to her Y/A profile.
