Can u buy a directtv reciever off ebay and use it with directtv progaming

i want to buy it off ebay so will it work with directtv channels if i pay for the channels

As long as your a subscriber, you can use any DirectTv receiver if it's not outdated and/or compatible with your dish. What happens is once you have the box in your possession, you have to call DirectTv and they will send you a new access card for free. Once you get the card, all you do is pop it in and you're good to go. I would suggest calling DirectTv and verifying the box is compatible first. Good luck.
