  1. yes

if you're the seller on your listing it will say amount of bids i.e 4...click on that and it will tell you whose bid then scroll down it'll say learn how to cancel bids if you need to...new page will come up then click on cancel bids

(YOULL NEED TO TYPE IN THE ITEM NUMBER AND USER ID& REASON WHY YOU'RE CANCELLING)

or you can Go to the site map, find link to the "cancel a bid form"

note if you do cancel it it will also block them from bidding on same item again and if anyone has bid inbetween and theyve bid over it'll knock that off and go to the last bid before the cancelled users first bid.

if you are the buyer you'll need to contact the seller and request that they cancel youre bid...stating why although it is not their prerogative to do so.

    Good Luck.

P.S preroxide.pixie is wrong...you are the seller and so can cancel a bid for any reason you want(although ebay do advise these to be the most reasonable situations)

just like if you went into a shop-the shopkeeper has the prerogative to refuse a sale for whatever reason they like

  2. Yes you can.  Go to the site map, you will find a link to the cancel a bid form.

  3. Yes, click on the 'bids' and at the bottom it should say 'retract bid'.

You can only retract a bid made if you

    *entered the wrong amount

    *cannot contact the buyer

    or if

    *the item description has changed

[I am not wrong, it says you can only retract them under them circumstances, but people can still put entered wrong amount and get away with it, oh and weldone on just typing yes and then ripping off my answer, lol, very clever! The questioner did not state whether they were a buyer or a seller, but I assumed they were a buyer in which case these circumstances for retracting bids are written in ebays policies]
