  1. Spells take faith to work. If you don't believe then it won't work. They're basically used instead of prayers, and the act of the ritual/spell casting helps the practitioner with mindfulness or focus in order to achieve what she desires.

  2. okay heres what you do,

jump up and down 10 times on a bed while shouting "blueberry"

then run up and down your garden waving a pair of blue jeans.

  3. Could you cast a spell with the opposite effect as a sort of counter? I know that some spells have specific counters, some have multiple, and some have difficult or impossible ones. It helps to know what the spell did.

You can stop believing. That is what these things ride on, after all. (I always thought that was a little convenient considering that it prevents magick from being disproved).

  4. the best spell cancellation that i know, is... you must f**t 3 whole miniature pumpkins out of your butt at a running goose at a high rate of speed and kill the goose like that. then take the dead goose and use it to cancel any spell.

  5. It is best to let the spell run it's course. Eventually it will phase out. There is a way to reverse a spell but sometimes it makes things worse. If your boss kept any remains of the spell (like candle wax, ashes) she should put it all in a brown paper bag (seal it) and either bury it or drop it in the ocean or a lake. She shouldn't burn it. If she is going to drop it in the ocean or a lake, she should throw a rock in to weigh it down.

After she does this, she is going to need to consult with a God or Goddess depending on what type of spell it was.

And if she doesn't know or work with any God or Goddess, then she is basically on her own.

Well....actually, she could call on the Angels to transmute the energy she has sent out, it might work.

  6. No.  If she has cast a love spell by mistake, the guy will follow her around and break into her room and pounce on her.

It might wear off the next day.

  7. just stop believing in the spell and it'll stop working

  8. wave your hands around your as you jump and scream out "force field"

  9. yes you can,but only if you really mean it.my question is...why did you cast a spell if one now you wanna cancel it,and 2. why are you casting spells if you don't know how to control them?

Spell casting is nothing to mess with.REMEMBER what you do comes back 3 fold!

  10. Do you know what kind of spell it is? They can easily be removed when you know what it is. They have all types of removal spells for everything. I have to admit if its a curse or a dark spell then she may find it comes back three times three. As the Wicca rule is"and it harms none."

But what you want to do is just go-ogle on the web "removal of spells"

and find your best answer. People don't believe in these things because they don't understand it. They think its dark and evil when really its not about that at all. I hope this helps. Blessed be.

  11. Jen is right even if you cancel it it karma will still give you what you diserve but canceling it if it was a mean spell will give you some good karma.

  12. If the spell has already worked,

It's a bit late to stop it now Poppet.

The only way a Spell can be halted is by reversing it,

This must be done by the person that cast it in the first place. Everything said at the time has to be said

    backwards.

Advice, Don't mess with the unknown, and never take it lightly.

I Would stay and help, but I really must fly.

    Good Luck.

  13. YES! However you need to know what spell was cast and how it was cast. Other than that you can also divert it by casting a spell of protection, by beseeching the deity of your faith for protection from the spell that was cast. There is also positive imagery where you meditate and concentrate on having a protective field of color around you. If in fact you intend this to be done contact me and I shall give you further instructions. Peace&Love be with you...~M~

  14. Hahahaha. Saw that Hogwarts answer and cracked up for 10 whole seconds xD

    *Sigh* You stupid muggles.

  15. Ring your credit card company and get them to put a block on the spell!

Seriously, once the intent is launched you cannot recall it anymore than you can a frisbee you've just thrown. Even worse is worrying and over-thinking it, putting negative or conflicting energy towards it will only make it worse.

You can cast a chain of small 'detour' spells with the intent of each one slightly turning the result from the original to a new one. Kind of like having a row of people with fans trying to waft the frisbee to a new location.

But from the sounds of it the spell has already worked and created a result. Retro-active enchantment (changing something that has already happened and that you are aware of) is VERY difficult if not almost impossible. Perhaps acceptance and damage limitation is a better idea than zapping more mojo.

  16. No. You cannot un-ring a bell.

It is clear that this person has no business using magic if she doesn't know her own mind. It is not a toy. The universe has a very odd sense of humour. Even magic sent with the best intentions can backfire if you are not certain in your intention and sufficiently focused. It is highly unethical to use magic on others if the object of the spell is contrary to their will. It can be highly damaging to both the target and the caster. Hopefully your boss will have had the sense to include a clause in the spell such as "an it harm none" that will nullify the magic if it proves too dangerous.

All that can be done in this case is to protect the target of the spell from any further harm. There are several ways of doing this. Without knowing the particulars of the spell, it is hard to give advice. You can raise energy to protect that person and visualise it surrounding them. You can provide them with an amulet or cleansing spell, if they are aware of the spell. If they know they are being worked against, their own psychic self defense should deflect any unwanted influence. You could appeal to the Higher Power to protect this person and remove the influence of the spell. Your boss should be the one to do this as she was the one to put it out there. As a friend, the best thing you can do is to advise her not to do any more magic until she learns to think before she acts.

  17. try contacting hogwarts

  18. i dont think there is a way to counter act a spell that has already been put into motion. but that is a good way for your boss to realize how to be more specifc when casting. im not trying to be mean, but you have to be VERY clear about your intentions when casting a spell of anykind, because just one tiny mistake can mean every thing...kinda like a the scentance:  a man eating chicken. it can mean a man who is eating chicken... or a chicken that eats men. :) lol just try to be more careful next time. good luck  )O(

  19. If your boss feels they have managed to cast a spell then they should be able to stop it by using that which I now describe...

Have them close there eyes. Tie a piece of cord onto their hands, and have them pull the cord tight. All the time they have hold of the cord, they should be visualise the cord as being the spell. After a short time have them say something like "break the spell" several times. At an appropriate moment, sensed by "vibe" simply cut the cord with an boline, or even a sharp pair of scissors. Dispose of the cut cord in any way that seems appropriate.

Best of Luck, and remember its sometimes when things don't work out quite how we expected that we learn the most.
