  1. O yea but if it good wood make sure not to bump it against anything. But it is fine

  2. Transporting or storing a slate vertically is the ONLY way to handle it.  Any slate will warp in time if not kept vertical.

  3. At first I thought this a trick question because I bought a table for my son's room when he was age seven; but it weighed in at only 40-pounds. Boom-boom.

Okay, what kind of table? Some come fixed, re: Valley tables, Dynamo's, and a few others. Those are the easiest to pack around on their side. Well, not easy; you'll need help. Just be sure to lay a blanket, cardboard or something on the floor of your van. It not only protects from scrathing but it will slide in and out a lot easier.

  4. sure it's fine to put it on it's side.  you will however have to probably have the slate re-set when you set it back upright.  we transported one from CA to AZ and when we set it back up, the slate was uneven and we had to have a prof come out and balance it or something so the slate was perfectly even again.

  5. Oh man i was going to say no i cant even lift one but yes you can keep it as straight as posible you might want to let a pro move it if its expensive table they are responsible for it but yes they are shipped on their side
