Can u explain to me the diamond system in pool? like how they are connected?

i think i am good at pool but have trouble finding balls using the diamonds. thanks in advance.

Do you mean racking the balls into the wooden triangle for break?

One ball at the top, alternate solid stripe around edges and bottom two corners must be opposite, they can't both be solid or both be stripe for example.  And of course the 8 ball in the middle toward the top.

Its a system of angles. Similar to geometry. The best way i have found is just to practice shots. This system helps when there is a blocked direct shot and you have to bank off one or even multiple cushions.  Im not a pro and there is a better answer out there.  But simply, I hope this helps.  BCA, Billiards Congress of American's website may have more details listed for you.

The diamond system is too complicated to explain on yahoo answers but there are several different books and videos that give a complete explination. I suggest searching for one of these.
