the reason im asking is because i hardly eat meat but i do eat more of the side dishes. i feel fuller off of potatoes(no matter if their fried, smashed, cubed, baked) i just love em. Also i tend to eat more pasta such as mac and cheese or spaghetti, no sauce, just plain with butter and seasonings. I also love broccoli now! I just think im safer eating these things and a little portion of meat to stay lean. well i never ate pork in my life and i stay away from beef but i do love turkey. Grounded or smashed into patties or on a sandwich and i only like chicken if i boil it with water and season it while its boiling. Does this eating habit make sense to anyone else?

And will i gain alot of weight from the starches?

  1. depends on the fat and amount of food if you eat 10 hamburgers yell gain more wait then if you eat 10 potatoes

  2. You wont gain a lot of weight with either.  However, your body stores excess as fat.  This means that you need to eat a well balanced diet, because too much of anything is a bad thing.  However, it doesn't sound like you're eating too many carbs, just make sure you're eating a lot of fruits and vegetables and get protein (it doesn't have to be meat, and you don't need as much as the average American eats)

  3. you just got to watch out for carbs

please answer mine its in diet and fitness Am I fat or am I normal?
