Can u get a scholarship for boxing

can you get a scholarship for boxing or not

Not Me is wrong!  There are college boxing teams in the United States.  I boxed for 4 years for Lock Haven University in central PA.  But we were considered a "club team" similar to rugby.  No scholarships were permitted.  Apparently back in the 50s, more schools offered college boxing and scholarships were available but that lead an unfortunate incident where a scholarship fighter with a lot of experience ended up against a novice boxer and killed him.  I don't remember the full story but this came from the LHU coach, Dr. Cox.

Other colleges with club teams include:  Penn State Univ, Shippensburg Univ, Mansfield Univ, Univ of Reno, Univ of Ketucky, Santa Clara Univ, and the military academys - Army, Navy, Air Force, VMI

i don't think so. but the army has a real good boxing program and they'll offer you an education.

theres no "college boxing "teams.....but that other dude is right, you can box for the armed services Smokers team....you gotta be good though
