  1. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but if you're asking for ideas on how to reduce pollution...

Basically, it would require massive world effort to dredge the pollution that is collecting in the oceans right now.   The currents pull the debris to specific locations in the various waters, so it's not completely impossible to gather most of this "junk" that aquatic life is ingesting, buuut... I think the last number I heard quoted was 300 tons of pollution in the oceans.   That's a lot of trash to fish out of the water.   We should do it, but I'm not sure how we would get it done without serious social pressure on our governments.

Soil pollution... I think most soil pollution is due to trash collection sites leaking when the liners give out.   Also when companies fail to follow regulations and don't contain their waste properly.

As for air pollution... Honestly, we're reducing emissions as we can, but we need to worry about developing countries who are exempt from the global pollution agreements made.   I think one of the best solutions is to take an old saying and "Plant a tree".   I know I invest a lot of time making sure any ecological donations I make are going to reforestation of the rainforest or other areas.   Plants 'breathe' CO2.   Methane is another problem altogether, and I don't know enough about science to deal with that as a layperson.  Maybe a worldwide strike against beef?  Darn flatulent cows. :)

I am going to point you to the link below.  I think this person has provided a great solution to a lot of our garbage/waste problems, since most of what we throw away is made out of plastic.  This high school kid did a science project and managed to find a bacteria that 'eats' polycarbonate (plastic) so the bags were decomposed in a matter of months.   If we took the time and resources to sift through our current garbage facilities as possible, we could find the bulk of our waste and watch it get devoured by micro-organisms that leave only small amounts of water and CO2 behind.   It's a daunting project as well, though.   We'd need to set up large fermentation centers and enforce plastic recycling because 1)  our sanitation departments shouldn't be responsible for going through all of our trash, 2) many people don't feel pressured to recycle and 3) plastic packaging is everywhere.

I hope that helps you a little.  It's late here and I thought I'd try to answer your question while half asleep. :)

  2. Air pollution-

People but Refrigerators that emmit CFCs,

    Aerosol cans that emmit CFCs,

Power Plants, Paper plants, ect. emmit  smoke when making their products

all these things can deplete the OZone layer and cause Acid rain, which can eventually erode buildings

    Water Pollution-

    Oil spills

Trash dumped in lakes or rivers

    Sewage dumpage

    these can deplete fishing industries

make you sick when you swim

    and destroy sources of water

    Soil Pollution-

    dumping chemicals in soil

this can cause the soil to be unsanitary

if plants are planted, then they will be defective
