intensive farming is used primarily to feed the masses

Animal welfare is a big issue where intensive framing is concerned, overcrowding, disease

intensive farmed produce is cheaper to purchase from the supermarket shelf compared to organic farm produce

Organic farming is more time consuming and cost more to produce food and with no use of fertilizers less crops are produced per hecter/acre

A lot of shoppers find organic foods more expensive than foods produced by intensive farming methods

With the over use of pesticides in the UK farming  it could be argued that the soil is still full of dangers chemicals from the use of pesticides and the label organic produce is as yet false as it will take many years to free the soil from harmful pesticides

Organic farmed produced should be a healthlier option than those farmed by intensive farming methods.
