Can u give some examples or ideas of this " Notice the instructor's Interest Level"?

If the instructor falls asleep in class, his/her interest level is probably poor!  On the other hand, an instructor who tells you about new examples of things s/he has discovered, gets excited by the topics students suggest for term papers, or, when s/he doesn't know the answer to a question, offers to find out for the class, probably is seriously interested.  Remember that just the fact that an instructor is young and energetic doesn't mean that s/he is more interested in the class or the subject matter.

My best professors and teachers were zealous, full of pep, and happy to be teaching.  The ones that were just drawing a paycheck, tended not to get involved in the class much, likely assigned more homework to be done out of class and likely didn't spend much time on grading homework that you slaved over getting done.  Students can see this from day one.
