Question

A friend should have lots of qualities to be considered as a good and reliable one; but all mentioned qualities can be put into these three categories: honesty, care, and morality.

the qualities of the first group are all related to honesty. for instance, an honest friend never tells you lies and always mentions your mistakes as well as your good qualities without humiliating you; moreover, he/she tells you when he/she gets angry at you instead of backbiting you. All the qualities of the second group have sth in common that is your friend should care about you.your real friends help you if you are in trouble and sympathize you if your are unhappy. Finally, the last group's qualities show your friend's morality. for example, your friend never releaves your secrets. So whenever you wanted to assess your friend make sure you have considered all these qualities.

THE FIRST QUALITY RELATES TO honesty. For instance, an honest friend never lies and always POINTS OUT your mistakes as well as your good qualities without humiliating you. Moreover, he/she tells you when he/she IS Angry WITH RATHER THAN backbiting you.

THE SECOND QUALITY RELATES TO CARE: A GOOD FRIEND ALWAYS CARES FOR YOU. HE HELPS YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN TROIUBLE AND SYMPATHISES WITH YOU WHEN YOU ARE SAD AND UNHAPPY.

Finally, the last QUALITY RELATES TO MORALS. FOR INSTANCE, A GOOD FRIEND NEVER REVEALS YOUR SECRETS TO ANYONE.

So whenever you want to assess your friendS make sure you have considered all these qualities.

If you want to make sure you surround yourself with good, reliable friends, you should consider what qualities are important to you. For example, it might be important to you that a friend be honest, caring and moral.

An honest friend will be frank without demeaning you. If you anger him, he will discuss the problem with you directly. He will not discuss your personal information with others.

A true friend will care about you and about things that are important to you. He will be there when you need support and understanding.

A moral friend shares your values. His behavior will not cause you to be ashamed of your association with him.
