Insert a DVD-RAM/R/RW disc recorded in VR format or DVD-RAM disc formatted in UDF2.0

UDF is Universal Disk Format and it's the format used for video DVDs.  It's gone through a number of versions and it looks like your camcorder is picky about which one it uses.  I think your best bet is to use a blank DVD and format it in the camcorder.
