Can u help me with a question from a book?

I'm reading the lord of the flies, my one question is what three insights into life or human nature do you gain through the characters? Can you explain it to me please.

When they start to forget about the niceties of society and become barbaric, that's a look into true human nature.  The state of nature, actually.  Through the characters you see how unstructured society works, and also how introvertive people cling to their leaders.
