Can u hook up the xbox 360 to a laptop and get xbox live?

u know tht phone jack the 360 comes with can you put tht in a comp and get xbox live?

some laptops can u have to go inlaptop to alow to share  i suggest puting it in your modem/router (internetbox) because by sharing it with your laptop for xbox live will kill the motherboard from all the uploading

it take 6 months- year depends how old your laptop is  for your motherboard to crash so your wish

its not a phone jack its a ethernet port and no u cant plug into a computer to be plugged into to get live u need to be plugged into a router using a ethernet cable
