Well it all depends on you really.

If your asking can you keep it, then yes sure you can.

But if your asking is it legal, no its not legal in australia to keep exotic reptiles/speices.

Many people do and have great succses with keeping them.

The problem is they dont fit in to the australian eco system.

They will end up breeding and taking one of our australian animals food, or the animal itself.

So yeah sure keep it, just dont let it go and watch out for the authorties, they can give out a $110,000 and or 5 years jail.
