Yes tin foil and tin cans, paper ,plastic, carrier bags, and food stuff like fruit , veg pealings, teabags, egg shells.

Aluminium foil is indeed recyclable.

Certain types of plastics are also recyclable [e.g. PET] and others you will find with a symbol on the bottle or whatever.  Not all local authorities take plastic.

Other recyclable materials include:

glass

paper

cardboard

oil

organic matter (plants from garden, kitchen waste etc.)

metals e.g. iron, copper

You cal also 'recycle' objects through your local charity shop e.g. books, reasonable clothing, ornaments, toys etc.

paper, cardboard, tin cans... plastic bottles with a 1or 2 on the bottom.... i dont think foil is recycleable

Almost every container and item is recyclable...including foil..it's aluminum.

in my particular area the following is recycleable from kerbside:

glass (all colours)

steel and aluminium food and drink cans

steel or aluminium aerosol canisters (eg deodorant, hairspray, cleaning mouse)

aluminium foil ( foil or tray, if it scrunches and stays its recyclable not like foil crisp packets)

textiles of all conditions

paper of all colours

magazines, brochures, junk mail etc

cardboard

greetings cards and wrapping paper

plastic bottles without lids

garden waste

the list could go on for other little bits and bobs but think thats a pretty comprehensive list. not a lot more that can be taken really apart from food waste and more plastics which i really hope they do soon. I also hope other councils hurry up and take as much as they do here!!!!

everyone should recycle more theres no excuses!!!

About foil...it is recyclable, but some facilities take it and some don't.  You'll have to check with your local recycling facility.
