Can u network two computers with one cable and no router?

  1. Get a crossover cable,

    To check if it is crossover

    look at the two ends of the cable, i mean the connectors

    and compare them observerve the connectors at the left most part one of the connectors wire  must be white green and the other white orange. note look athe leftmost wire in the connectors that is n0. 1 wire. Good Luck.


  2. You can, you need a crossover CAT5 cable.

  3. Look at the cable to see the colored plastic around the wires. Put both endings next to each other. If the colors are in a different order on each one, it's a crossover cable.

    In that case assign fixed a IP address for each computer, plug the cable in and you should be fine.

  4. Sure you can!  Just connect that blue LAN cable to the LAN ports of both PCs and run the WIndows wizard on networking (see control panel)

  5. plug the two together and run windows networking wizard
