Can u play a japenese ps2 game on a american ps2

i was thinking of geting kh2 final mix and ordering it from ebay or something and i was wondering if i need something special

For it to work, you'd need to have a modified PS2 that has a modchip installed, or you'd need to use swap magic discs.

seing how i assume u dont want to mod ur ps2, which i definately wouldnt reccommend either, then no a j*p game will not work on a US ps2 or vice versa. Sorry bro!

well i dont know about japan but my uncle recetly went to Pakistan and their games are MUCH MUCH cheaper then here so he bought like 13 games for $20.00 but he had to BUY A SPECIAL chip which u insert on the console but once again that was for a DIFFRENT COUNTR SO IM NOT SURE
