  1. Hi, I stayed at Wynn's Hotel it was in an ideal location just off O'Connell Street, it was around 90 euros each £70 for 2 nights B&B.  It was a clean comfortable hotel.  You can get cheaper hotels and hostels but we were very satisfied with Wynns.  To save money when you get there get the bus into Dublin it's 6 euros each, and then when you are going back use the bus again you catch it outside the bus information centre on O'Connell St. (just past McDonalds).  You buy your ticket at a machine at the airport.  Have a great trip.

  2. Try celtic lodge on talbot street. It's cheap and nice, the exterior has just been renovated. Also it's in a very central location.

  3. If you're looking specifically for a hotel and not a hostel, you'll already be paying more. There's this place within walking distance of Grafton Street (the main pedestrian street in Dublin) called Latchford's of Baggot Street (http://www.latchfords.ie/). I stayed there last summer for 70 euro a night, and my room was gorgeous. The building is a quintessential Georgian House (a must see in Dublin), and I had a fireplace, cathedral ceilings, a sitting area, and a small kitchenette. And it was en suite. What's also nice is that Irish hotels tend to charge per person, this place doesn't. And it was quiet. Hotels near and in Temple Bar are not. I highly recommend it.

You might also find a cheaper rate for this place if you use a hotel booking web site instead of their site.
