  1. 5 or 6 MP should be enough unless you plan to print larger than poster size.

  2. acutally megapixels dont matter much. a research showd that only a few can differentiate b/w a 3, a 5 and a 7 megapixel image

so for good pics go for a camera thats a balance b/w all the features as well as price

other features include shutter speed (read ISO speeds) (for stabler and less blurry images), scene modes for different occasions, zoom (importnat for outdoor shooting), and lots of mannual settings..

cannon and sony offer good models, try them b4 u buy..

    a good price range will b 10000 to 15000

for professional SLR cameras it may go upto 45-50k, these cameras are the best for nature photography

  3. yea 5mp

    and atleast 25x zoom

  4. First, choose your camera from actual camera manufacturers like Sony, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Canon, Sigma, Panasonic. Buying some unknown brand is simply a waste of money.

5 megapixels should be fine for your needs.

Once you buy your new camera plan to spend some time to really READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual. If you don't know how to actually use the camera your results will be poor. 99% of the problems with digital cameras are a result of the user not knowing how to use the camera. Learn the settings on your camera and know when, why and how to use them.

  5. The features which should be taken into consideration while purchasing a Digital camera are megapixels, optical zoom, picture resolution, the best deal we can suggest would be Sony Cybershot T300 which has the follwing features available:

    10 Megapixels

    5x SteadyShot Optical Zoom

    3.5" Touch Screen LCD.

  6. I just bought Sony digicam but trust me nothing can match picture quality, shutter speed and pixel clarity of N95 Nokia Mobile. It's 5 Megapixels are far far better than even Sony product too.

Its worth every single penny. Th best option by all means.

  7. buy one with a recharchable battery.

  8. Go with an established name brand like Canon. Reviews show they have some of the best and most accurate colors in their point and shoot cameras.

5 mp should be sufficient for your needs. Try the camera out in a store and see how it feels in your hand. You want a camera that you feel comfortable using each day.

Check the reviews on Amazon, DPreview, Steve's or other to see if there are any hidden cons to owning the camera. Sometimes you'll find negatives crop up in the reviews like poor battery life or distortion at wide angle settings on some cameras.

  9. Before chosing camera u must decide what u want to use it for.

As u sais u want to take pictures of nature then go for 7.2 MP camera but 5 MP will also do..

But while taking camera see how much optical zoom is available as it helps a lot while taking picture while are at a large distance..

N if u have never used digital camera before then go for camera having automatic as well as manual setting so that initially u can use automatic setting but later when u become used to it u can do manual settings as well..

  10. Interpolation is the process by which a camera will use firmware algorithms to extrapolate additional pixels to an image beyond the camera's ability originally record.

In short the camera uses a built in process to make a smaller picture appear bigger. Photoshop will do the same thing with software.

Were you buying a camera or a camcorder? If you're buying a camera, to get the most realistic images free of image compression codecs make sure the camera can shoot in RAW format. Formats like JPEG actually edits the picture before it saves the image so what you shoot is not necessairily what you saw through the lens.

For nature shots, you'll want a camera with the widest possible settings for ISO, aperature and shutter speed. Keep in mind that in nature shooting, you're going to need filters so your camera should be able to accept them.

Optical zoom beats the c**p out of digital zoom.

  11. Interpolation means 2or3 (or any low) megapixel camera  ,which converts its file to very high megapixel files. As this is done by software it will be of very bad quality.

Why u want to spend minimum(for last grade camera like wespro)when you wants TRUE COLORS of nature. Buy good brand with possibly more optical zoom.

Quality photographs does cost a lot (that is why professional do charge more than home camera photography)and it is not possible to achieve more than "smile please" garbage snaps, with mobile cameras like Nokia N72 (as suggested by some high tech guy above.)
