  1. Neuter the beast immediately before he embarrasses you in front of somebody you want to impress.  It is not a cute habit.

  2. Well you have two choices. You neuter your dog so he calms down.

Or you can look on Puppyfind.com or Petfinder.com to find another dog.

  3. Uh, neuter him and, just for the record, humping is a sign that your dog is trying to assert his dominance, not always sexual.

  4. You can get your dog neutered.  Just because they hump, don't mean that they need to breed.  Humping is also a sign of dominance. If a dog humps, he's displaying his dominance.  Don't let him get away with things that you saw him do.

  5. You should have him fixed the animal controls normally do it pretty inexpensive.

  6. You have to get him fixed and trained. Breeding him will only increase his behaviors.

  7. You neuter your dog.

  8. Having him fixed will probably solve the problem. He might still do it sometimes, but at least that way you'll know nothing will happen.

  9. First, a breeder is going to have a lot of qualifications that your dog would have to have before they will even consider breeding your dog.  (BTW, if it is the mixed breed that  you posted links too, no one will breed with you.)

Second, if you mate a dog they will actually hump more.  Mating once will not satisfy anything, and it will only get worse.

Please consider neutering your dog.  Mating him is not an answer to fix this.  Otherwise, consider training, as this could be a behavioral problem.

  10. even if your dog mates it will still hump.  Humping is also a show of dominance.  My dog that has been fixed since 9 weeks old still humps my female dog  on a very rare occasion.  If you have him or her fixed this will cut down on the humping . other than that... there is no fix.

  11. You get him fixed and then you work on getting him trained.

A dog mounts for one of two reasons - to mate and to show dominance. No dog owner in their right mind take an in heat female to the park so its the second in your dog's case. He needs to be trained that this is not proper behavior.

  12. What are you saying?  That you want a companion for your dog that he can mate with?

I can only tell so many people here the same thing:  Do you not understand how many THOUSANDS of dogs DIE EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK because of unwanted litters and "accidents"?!

Get around $70-100 dollars, get your dog NEUTERED, and that's that.  Believe me, unlike most humans, dogs do not need or desire a s*x life.

Don't be dumb or bring more puppies in the world.  Get him snipped.  He'll quit humping and probably live longer.

  13. Take your dog to the vet & have him neutered.  If you don't want to do that, look in the Yellow pages.  Breeders are listed there, but PLEASE be intelligent about it and responsible.  Don't take puppies and then let them loose because you can't sell them or don't want them.  That is one of the cruelest things to do to an animal.

  14. Contrary to popular belief, most dogs don't hump because they're looking to sow their seed, it is usually a sign of dominance. Your best option would actually be to see a Behaviourist or Trainer, or simply do some leadership training at home. Be careful on the methods you use to implement the leadership training though.
