Can u tell me how to insert a pic instead of a avatar???

Plzz I need to know how do u set up a pic in the place of avatar!!!.....plzz let me know....n tell me if u know....

you can not put your pic instead of Avatar as the Avatar also is like nick name? like putting your own real name?

Once your 360 ! page gets activated, simply select .jpg or .jpeg file from your computer (these are the picture formats)...this a very common format so u can get many pics with this format.

If u don't have any pics stored in your pc, never mind, just save some pics from the internet on ur desktop and then upload them in your profile.

Now, in your Y!A, click on Edit my profile.

There, select the option, use my 360 picture and then click Preview and save.

(Note: When ur 360 account gets activated, the primary picture saved in ur 360 profile is automatically displayed in Y!A edit profile).

If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 page. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

click "my page" then "edit personal photo" then browse upload and save Set as primary. and save. go to your avatar choose your avatar>preview>OK. then go to yahoo>my profile>edit my info then click use my 360 picture>preview then OK.

Some users are experiencing a problem with the 360 avatar. it can take some time to show but it will eventually so try to be be patient.

just make yahoo 360 page and then use that picture as a yahoo avatar.

Create your 360 page and upload a pic.

Now, go to :

http://answers.yahoo.com

Go to your profile main page, and click 'use my 360 pic'.

Bravo! It's done !!

Note that 360 is slow, and it may take 2-3 days to appear.  It seems like you are using y!a India, in which there's not an option to use 360 pic.

edit: Try upload the pic you want. It should be okay.
