there is no such being. even bacteria require a given amount of air/sunlight/biological elements to survive. all living beings and especially animals need sustainance, since, unlike plants, they need to move around, and to do that, they need energy - energy that comes from some form of consumption. even creatures such as water bears, who dehydrate themselves as some form of super-hibernation, need water to reactivate their metabolisms.
