i just got a new ps3 and i want 2 know if u can use a ps2 control on the ps3?

  1. Yes it plugs in in the same manner as the ps2.


  2. You need to buy a controller USB adapter. However, PS2 controllers will not work with PS3 games. The PS2 controllers only work on PS2 and PS1 games. The PS2 controller doesn't have SIXAXIS.
