  1. no offense but the odds of u catchin a bass with a night crawler is 1 and a million but you will catch a lot of cat fish with it. for bass you need plastic and artificial baits and lures.

  2. Yes you can catch a largemouth bass with one but they are not always the best bait to use for them try http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores...  with a bass hook size 4-5

  3. yep add a little scent to it and hook it in the nose and bounce it off the bottom like its a snake

  4. Very good bait rigged texas style. Use light slip sinker and use a wire hook instead of the heavy hook like in plastic baits. Fish slow draging it across bottom. Since the bait is a live bait be expecting to catch all sorts of fish. A live bait is very good to use when fish seam to have lock jaw.

  5. Yes, nightcrawlers are good for all kinds of fish. Large mouth bass included. Live bait is the best bait. The problem with nightcrawlers is that, like I said, a lot of fish eat them. You may have problems with smaller fish "stealing" them off your hook and you may not feel them nibbling. You can catch plenty of bass with them. I have used a variety of hooks, and baitholder hooks are probably the best. I have recently been using a 2/0 mosquito hook. I would go with the baitholder hook though. Good luck !

  6. yes you can catch anything on a good ole worm

  7. If there are bass around, you can use a night crawler.  I catch them off my dock, but I use a no 6 hook.  Good luck.  Most people cast and use a spoon for bass.

  8. you can catch HUGE bass with night crawlers! Cast them out there and let them sit just wait a bit and if there is any bass in the water they will bite it. dragon2k2 has no clue what he's talking about. 1 and a million using night crawlers....I caught a 8 lbs. largemouth bass on a night crawler you dumb sh*t.  So keep using crawlers bass will go after them.

  9. You can catch bass, using nightcrawlers, but there are many artificial baits that are better for bass fishing

  10. absolutely.all fresh water game fish bite on a good old fashioned worm. don't limit yourself to one bait try a variety and see what they are biting on. i personally prefer live baits for cats and crappie but bass will bite on worms. i use both texas and carolina rigs

  11. bass love all worms you can use regular worms, night crawlers and  fake worm and beetle baits.grasshoppers work great if you can catch some.but you can use minnows or fake minnows or minnow flashers.bass like most live bait well most fish like live baits you can try leeches. bass love crayfish to.

  12. Yes you surely can catch them on worms, I do it all the time. You may want to only use half a work each time so the fish have an easier time sucking them into their mouths.

  13. You can use crawlers to catch anything.  The only problem is that the smaller bass may not be able to eat a big crawler, so they may just nibble it away.  You would be better off using leaf worms as they are smaller and they have a very strong smell that attracts the fish.

To hook the fish, all you have to do is jerk on the line when you feel the fish bite.  It's that simple.
