  1. yes, however you will get pesos.  it will be converted at that ATM.

  2. Ask Pedro.

  3. Yes it will work. In some stores they have a ATM which gives you an option if you want your money in pesos or dollars. I just went 2 months ago.

  4. Yes you can but, remember it will come out in pesos so remember the conversion rate.

  5. you can use your atm card there, or any credit card, it will just be subject to the exchange rate and whatever fees your bank charges...take extra cash with you or travlers checks in case you can't take the money out.  sometimes i travel to europe and my bank won't let me take money out of my account b/c they think someone has stolen my card (Because of the unusual activity) but sometimes I travel and have no problem.

Banks reccomend you call them and let them know where u will be so they can note your account and then you will be less likely to have a hold.

    have fun!

  6. Yes, and it is the best way to convert money as it always gives you the current bank rate.   I have lived here 2 1/2 years, use my ATM all the time.  There are ATMs in many places...supermarkets, banks, and many gas stations.

  7. i THINK SO... GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE... BETTER YET GOOD LUCK NOT GETTING ROBBED AFTER USING ONE!!

  8. Yes, your ATM card will work.  Make sure it has a visa/MC logo just to be safe, but everywhere I've traveled I've always used mine.

  9. Just take your debit card. ATMs are everywhere. You'll get pesos but if you really need dollars you can change them at a bank or cambio.

  10. I have always been able to without problem.  it actually gives you up tot he minute exchange rates too.  Remember you are getting pesos not dollars, and often times there will be an extra fee on your bill for an international machine and a foreign atm (not your bank.) I wouldn't keep too much cash on you at any one time in Mexico City, however, there is a problem with pick pocketing.
