  1. According to the Hershey Trust Company, who operates and manages the cemetary, the cemetary is open to the public.   Appointments to visit specific locations must be scheduled by calling them at 717-520-1110.

The Hershey Cemetery is located one mile north of Hershey.  It overlooks the Swatara Creek basin 200 feet below to the north and the town of Hershey can be seen to the south. The Hershey Cemetery can be accessed from Laudermilch Road (State Route 743) just north of Hershey Park.

    Some other info:

When Milton Hershey's wife, Catherine, died March 25, 1915, she was buried in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia. In April of 1919, Milton Hershey had Catherine's body brought from Philadelphia and re-interred in the family plot that later was expanded to became the Hershey Cemetery.

When Milton 's mother, f***y, died on March 11, 1920, she was buried directly in the Hershey section of the cemetery. On October 12, 1920, Hershey arranged for his father's body to be brought from the Hershey Reformed Mennonite Cemetery on Bachmanville Road to the family plot in the Hershey Cemetery. A Hershey monument remains in the cemetery on Bachmanville Road although Henry Hershey is no longer buried there.

  2. I don't see why not.
