Can u wake up leopard geckos

hi i got a baby leopard gecko a week ago and i was wondering do they mind if u wake them up

Your baby is expending a lot of energy just to grow.  He needs his naps.  If you observe him, you will see when he wakes for brief periods during the day.  It would be better if you waited till then, to handle him for a short period, or just talk to him, to accustom him to your voice.

He will be more alert in the evening, and that's a better time to get to know him.

Too much handling can cause stress.  Keep in mind, he's in a new habitat, and doesn't know you.  Go slow, and don't put undo stress on the lil guy.

Leopard Geckos are nocturnal. The only time he should be awake during the day is to switch from the hot side of the cage to the cool side, you do have two hide spots dont you? They like their undisturbed sleep and being left alone during the day. Thats why theyre good pets if youre out at work or school all day, you can just come home and do everything late evening then turn the lights off and just watch as it gets darker and the geckos start being active.

no dont wake the little baby leo they are nocturnal and are active during the night so wait till then to do what u do with ur baby leo
