Can u wear a nose piercing when playing volleyball??

Question

ok well i play volleyball and i really want to get my nose pierced

i would just get a little crystal stud (really small) but i was wondering if id have to take it out for volleyball because if i do then i dunno if i want to be taking it out a lot

No, this is not legal. You cannot have any jewelry, etc. while playing. This includes thigns such as a hairband on your wrist and that sort og thing, as well as earrings and other jewelry.

However, this may be different for beach volleyball.

You may be able to play in a rec league.  You will not be able to play in junior high school, high school, college or club ball.  Either you go on the court or your nose rings do.  

Even if it was allowed, I would not.  You never know what is going to happen on a play.  You could get hit just wrong and hurt your nose.  I use a picture of what is left of the ear after the ear ring got caught in the net for my refereeing clinics.

If you are playing competitive volleyball such as club volleyball in high school, the volleyball officials will ask you take out your earrings from your ears.  This rule also applies to any other facial piercings.  So to answer your question you may not wear a nose piercing when you play competitive volleyball.

Your coach would probably require that you do so during games, a lot of coaches will ask that you remove any jewelry during sports

you cant have a nose piercing, earings, jewelry or any of the above or u could get disqualified but u can wear any piercings that arent visible

I had a friend in highschool with the same dilemma except for basketball.  The coach advised him to remove his piercing but didn't make it mandatory. Lo and behold he got accidentally hit in the face and his nose was bleeding from the piercing.  

So, I guess I'd say you can wear one just don't get hit in the face. =p

you can wear any accessories

but my friend wears her bellybutton ring.. my coach found out so she was forced to put a bandadie on top of it so ya

what you would have to do for the game, is put a small piece of like fishing wire through piercing to hold it open.

i would not advise wearing the piercing even if you were allowed.

I could tell you this story about a girl who nearly became paralyzed from her belly button ring shooting through her body, but that would be a little scary.lol

No they will not allow it.  And i wouldnt do it anyways because you never know what will happen and you could get serjiously hurt like if the ring got stuck in the net or something so i would not get one but your choice!!!  GooD LucK ;)))))
