Can unconditional trust ever really be betrayed?

Is trust an act of love?

it cannot be betrayed, but it gets challenged many times. it is the good old game of "good against bad", head against heart, intellect against intuition.

trust happens with love. so many words for the same thing. both trust and love you cannot do, it happens when doubt is absent. and doubt is a mind thing. so when in no-mind, love, trust, peace happens.

I'd say that trust is often a bi-product of love.....I would think that unconditional trust can be betrayed......note that the threshold of what we expect of those we honour with such trust is actually higher than everybody else....it can be betrayed

once trust has been broken the love you had will

never be the same, we exchange bits of ourselves

with the one we love every moment we share time,

when one loses trust then it may be told that there

was no true fate in meeting, only an accident in

life to expose the essence and personality in who

you have fallen in love with......

our essence is what is ours,

our personalities are of our experiences in life which

form our feelings by imitation and reaction of who

we encounter........

the worst thing that can happen in love is to lose

faith and trust in that heart you thought was so true,

with faith and trust one can prepare for a loving future,

when love is from accidental influences we

can know nothing of a possible future, for in losing

trust we exist in the potential falsehoods controlled

by another life absent of true inner love.....

The two can't go together.  Love may encompass trust, and love can be unconditional - but this is dependant on understanding and forgiveness, not trust.
