Right now i feel discomfort in my chest area and on my brain and i have a hard time breathing. I told my urologists bout i think my urine goes up to my brain, and he did nothing to me.

I think my urine is already traveling in my body now. No one seems to know how to help me.

  1. No, but holding it for too long is not a very smart idea.

  2. No the urine does not travel to the brain.  By holding the urine like that you could do some serious kidney damage.  You had better get not only advice from your doctor, but talk to a psychiatrist.

  3. No...but it may damage your kidneys if u do that much often...and that's the time it will affect your system...

  4. no, you will just pee your pants.

however, if you hold your pee a lot (like everyday) for long perieds of time, you may eventually develop kidney problems which can be very painful.

  5. No, but it is not a good idea to do so, you can develop bladder infections which can travel to your kidneys and cause problems. Plus it is just uncomfortable...go potty!!!

  6. There must be another explanation. The urine does not back up into body. There could be some kidney effect if there were a complete obstruction, kidney stone, prostate obstruction, etc.but you would never be able to voluntarily "hold" your urine to that extent.
