  3. Please bear in mind that if you go to Montreal you will be

    sent to a French speaking school. You will not be able to

    go to school that teaches in English as under their law

    all immigrants must go to French schools. Hope your French is up to it.

  4. As long as you have a canadian address then im assuming yes...although you may have to have a canadian passport too

  5. Only if you are in Canada as a permanent resident. Otherwise, you must apply for a student visa and you will be required to pay fees. I don't know what the fees are in the Montreal school system, but in other provinces it can be as high as $7,500/year or more.

That depends on which "us citizens" you're talking about.  I don't know the details, but it has to do with where the newcomer is coming from, and what language her/his education had been so far.  I was disappointed because I could not have continued and improved my daughter's Alberta French Immersion work....  Good luck!
