Can use mebendazole even if u don;t have worms?

Question

can u use mebendazole medicine just to clean inside the stomach? or u hav to take it only if u hav worms?

i don't know if i have worms, but i want to take the pills just to clean my stomach? is that good?

It wouldn't be helpful to "clean out your stomach."  Mebendazole has a number of indications besides the treatement and eradication of just helminthic infections including treatment of Hydatid Cysts, toxicariasis, etc.

Mebendazole does not "clean" anything....I know what you mean by asking that, however, mebendazole acts only on the cells of selected worms...

If there are no targets  (parasites)in the lumen of the gut, then, you are wasting medicine and your money......
