  1. A proportion of recycled motor oil blended with refinery crude oil feedstock can be converted to gasoline via cracking processes (typically catalytic cracking and hydro cracking).

  2. motor oil is just a long hydrocarbon. gasoline is a short hydrocarbon. The long oil hydrocarbon has to be broken down into smaller molecules. This is done at oil refineries when they produce too much of one petroleum product and not enough of another. It can also be done in a thermal depolymerization unit.

  3. I filter it and mix with diesel at 25%.used ATF too.Best you get a diesel.

  4. Yes, but it is probably just easier to burn it as fuel oil.

  5. yes but converting oil into gasoline is a dificult and expensive prosess and is not economically viable.

  6. No but the acid part can be neutralized and fine filter will clean it up.
