  1. Yes they can. Whenever you recycle paper products you can put them all together.

You can read more about paper recycling here:

    Good luck!

  2. yes but not if they are colored or Styrofoam

  3. A paper plate is a paper plate. It is still paper. Yes, recycle it!

  4. prob not with but dey can b recycled

  5. No they cannot be recycled.  You cannot recycle any paper that has been contaminated.  You are also not supposed to recycle perfume samples, because the recycled paper smells of perfume.

  6. Not if used!!!!!!!!!

  7. Usually you can recycle paper plates with other paper. The package of paper plates you buy, should tell if they are recycle friendly, which they usually are.

It depends though, how your local waste managing company runs the local garbage and recycling system. You should ask them or the city garbage department. Back in Sweden where i'm from we didn't mix different type of recycling. We even separated news paper from other paper and cardboard.

There are many different recycling systems out there. Seems like most recycling contractors in the Seattle area, like Smurfit Stone, Waste Management and Waste Connections, pick up a recycle mix on the curb, then they bring it to a facility, where they kind of semi-automatic/manually sort some part of the recycle mix. After sorting it goes to baling and out loading, and shipped to regional paper mills. I big part of recycle mix get loaded into empty containers that have to be shipped back to Asia (China).

Some companies do a better sorting job than others. The best sorting job can only be done at the sourse for the "garbage" like house holds, businesses etc. Big companies like Costco and Wal-mart etc, turn in a huge amount of card board to recycling.

I'am a truck driver "hauling" ONP, Old News Print to a local paper mill from Seattle metro area. This mill clean out 5-15% garbage out of every ton of ONP. Garbage is everything from glass bottles, cans, plastic of all kinds, leahter belts, shoes, used diapers, condoms etc etc, you name it. All this garbage have to go to landfill after being processed in the mill. So the paper mill don't want cardboard or "playboy" magasine type of paper with a lot of ink. They want OLD NEWS PRINT,ONP, which is just news paper,  to make high quality paper for phone directories.

Also see my Youtube video from the paper mill's "ONP to garbage" handling. All this garbage could if properly recycled go back to recycling and manufactoring of new products.
