Question:

Can using Crest White Strips damage a 14 year old's teeth?

I'm 14 years old and I've ordered some Crest White Strips because I've got quite yellow bottom front teeth. I don't know why my teeth are yellow because I frequently brush.

I've heard that Crest White Strips can damage tooth enamel. I'm definitely going to use them now I've bought them, but I'm just wondering what the consequences could be. I've ordered the Classic ones where you use them twice a day for 14 days.

Any help would be great.

Thanks very much for your time and I look forward to your answer...

  1. My dad used Crest White Strips, and it weaked his teeth. He had pieces chipping off [something that never happened before the white strips] so don't use them. Especially when you're not even fully developed yet.

  2. it really depends on your teeth.

your teeth could be really porous and as i can imagine, crest strips would damage your teeth badly.

you should call up your dentist and see what they say.

crest can cause tooth sensitivity, but toothpaste meant for sensitive teeth can help a lot.

  3. haha I thought you meant the music group, I don't think so since they have adult teeth

But I never uesed them so you may be right

  4. I use them occassionally and have never had a problem.
