Can using the wrong moisturizer mess up your skin?

i really dont know wat type of skin i have. oily, dry, combination? but can using any type of moisturizer mess my skin up even more

Not as long as you make sure that your skin is very clean before applying the moisturizer. Make sure that you're buying the right moisturizer according to your skin, either oily, normal or dry. Remember that during the day you should use a moisturizer that has a sun block to protect your skin from the  effects of the sun light.

it wont mess it up it just might make it a little more oily than you want so just play around with a few different types and see which one works for you

Well some moisturizers can mess up your skin because you can break out because of them and be allergic to them with rashes and stuff.

it won't mess it up buy my best bet is to say you have combination skin, where some spots are oily and some are dryer.

If you face is really oily on your forehead and your nose area, you have combination skin. That area is called you "T" zone.

to answer you question, nothing can really happen its just that the balance will be off. moisturizers for dry skin tend to leave more oils on the face, oily moisturizers absorb more oils from your face and combination does both! Find out what's best for you.

Yes they def. can make your skin worse.  If you are using  one that is making your face oily it can cause break outs.
