  1. Sorry, no exceptions.  You can be lacto-vegetarian and eat only the frozen yogurt, but vegans do not eat ANY dairy.

What you could do is check your local Whole Foods or natural foods store for Whole Soy & Company frozen yogurt.  It's soy yogurt, completely vegan, and should ease your frozen yogurt cravings.

  2. Nope they can not you see anything that comes from the animal can not be eatin.

  3. Vegetarianism and veganism is a personal thing. If you want to make one acception, do it.

Although there are some people who will get upset if you use a term that doesn't technically apply to you, so you can call yourself a lacto-vegetarian.

  4. You can be a vegetarian and still eat dairy products, just make sure you do not eat any meat.

Theres no way you can call yourself a vegan if you eat frozen yogurt. Yogurt is a dairy product, it comes from animals.(cows)

  5. Like others said, try sorbet. I thiiiink Haagen-Dazs has nondairy sorbet. Or you can go for non-dairy ice cream! Purely Decedent is my new obsession... mmmmmmmmm, mocha almond fudgeeee... *drool*

ETA: Sure, you can make "just one exception," but you're not vegan.Vegans don't eat dairy.

Seriously, try Purely Decedent. It's like heaven for your mouth. Best ice cream I've ever had, dairy or not.

  6. Hello.

Ok, firstly, if it is only yogurt (which uses milk) that you cannot resist but you are okay with meat and fish, you can call yourself a vegetarian. There are like 10 names for vegetarians (inclding vegans) which I don't remember and I don't want to. I am not such a fun of labels.

Anyway, there is cheese for vegans made out of soy milk or another milk (except milk from animals) so I guess that there might be even yogurt.

However, if you really wanna be a vegan, what you can do, is find how they make yogurt (home made yogurt) and replace the milk with soy milk. The taste won't be the same, but it will be similar.

A google search for home made yogurt or home made vegan yogurt might clear it up for you!

As I said though, I am not sure if there is vegan yogurt. i just guess because there is cheese for vegans.

    Best of luck!

  7. Why don't you just call yourself a Vegetarian? I don't see the point of labels anyway..

  8. No, you can't eat dairy and call yourself a vegan.  You can be a lacto-vegetarian who doesn't eat a whole lot of dairy but loves a bit of frozen yogurt from time to time.  If that suits you, why would you want to label yourself "vegan" when it doesn't apply?

  9. Try a non-dairy sorbet.  Cold Stone Creamery has an awesome raspberry non-dairy sorbet that is better than anything, in my opinion.

  10. no. but try non dairy   shorbert its good and if its non dairy yogurt go nuts.
