No, nobody can really eat vanilla extract, you could drink it though but you probably wouldn't as it is just vanilla and alcohol. It is vegan or at least I am 100% the real stuff it vegan the imitation stuff might not be! Most extracts used in baking and candies and that sort of stuff you will find are vegan.
