  1. so there are different classes of vegetarian, such as ones that dont eat dairy, some that dont eat red meat, some that dont eat poultry or waterfowl. or some that dont eat fish. So a vegetarian can eat chicken depends on there view of it

  2. Normally, they don't but it all depends on the choice. Some may like a non-veg item. But hard-core vegans definitely don't have chicken.

  3. they "CAN" eat any thing they want... really ..

some do but some do not..

you should as DO vegetarians eat chickens

personally I am NOT vegetarian and I DO NOT eat much chicken - it is the CRUELEST raised of all livestock/feed animals

however I do encourage Vegetarians and Vegans to eat FREE RANGE EGGS..

soy is actually cruel to because farmers of soy kill or displace millions of animals so they can grow their crop...

  4. Well, it certainly is spelt wrong, dear, and you would have had plenty of chances to correct it, as it even has the correct spelling when the program asks you to pick the section in which you're placing your question.

Now, vegetarians and vegans do not--I repeat NOT--eat the flesh of ANY animal.  Got it?  Are we clear on that?  Because it seems many people want to know if vegetarians eat the flesh of XYZ.  And we don't.  And I don't know if people keep asking this question out of sheer ignorance (often spelling it wrong) or if they have a desire to irritate the heck out of us.

Now, you have to ask, are chickens animals?  According to my less-than-stellar education, they ARE animals, so vegetarians do not eat chicken.  How difficult is that?

  5. vegetarians don't eat meat sweetheart

  6. no, they don't eat any meat, and some don't even eat fish.

  7. No they do not eat any meat same answer as shown above

  8. no

  9. You know the last time I looked chicken were not feathered vegetables. They are also so stupid, mean and so aggressive that they eat their own eggs if one is dropped, they peck one another and are basically smelly obnoxious creatures. So if you are what you eat. . . . . . ?

  10. if you can grow a chicken in your garden, then yes. if not, then no.

  11. sure dear you are welcome...

  12. It's a personal choice. This falls under the broad 'vegetarian' label although technically they are called pollotarians [sounds like someone who eats politicians or flowers to me]. I believe they eat poultry [chickens, duck, turkey], but abstain from red meat. You might continue to eat chicken as you cut out other meats on your way to becoming fully vego.

In my opinion, vegetarians cannot/should not eat chicken. Using the term vegetarian though, may make their lives a little easier in social situations. Hope this helps =)

  13. use spell check!

PS - they DON'T eat chicken.

  14. Why do so many people ask pointless questions like can vegetarians eat chicken, fish etc?

A chicken, is a animal.....Vegetarians do NOT eat animals.

They can how ever veggie chicken (quorn, tofu, textured vegetable protein) found in many health stores, and some supermarkets.

  15. no.

I'm a vegetarian AND a chicken so i should know.

I think you probably spent more time and energy typing "(may be spelt wrong)" than actually looking at the category title and getting the spelling right - thats quite funny.

  16. I have heard people say they are vegetarian but eat chicken before. In my opinion, people who consume chicken and fish are not true vegetarians because an animal is killed for their meal.

  17. vegetarians do not eat any type of meat including seafood. however, it is their choice, not something they are forced to do, so they choose not to eat chicken

  18. No.

Chicken is an animal. Vegetarians & vegans do NOT eat animals.

No fish. No poultry. No flesh of any animal. I don't see what is so difficult to understand about this.

  19. Can they eat chicken?  Of course.  They just choose not for any of a number of reasons.

  20. no...because then they wouldn't be vegetarian.

People sound ridiculous if they say, "I'm vegetarian but I eat chicken."

    well....then, they're not vegetarian!

  21. Is chicken a vegetable?

They CAN eat meat, they just choose not to.

  22. Nope, no chicken.  It can be confusing.  I read a menu at  a Mexican restaurant over the weekend and they had 4 options under their vegetarian heading-  one of them was chicken with vegetables.  They goofed.

  23. No we don't eat any meat.

I'm really suprised people have to ask these kinds of questions.

  24. Absolutely not. If someone claims to be a vegetarian and they eat any animal, including but not limited to chicken, fish, or seafood they are NOT a vegetarian.

  25. NO.  Chickens aren't vegetable.

  26. Umm..no..that's why they are vegetarians.

FYI:   Spelt is a name of a grain.

  27. I suppose a vegetarian could do that. But the minute the chicken crosses their lips, they wouldn't be vegetarian anymore.

Vegetarians do not eat animal flesh of any kind.

    Good day!

  28. It depends on what kind of vegetarian you are... i'm a lacto-veg. so that means i eat dairy but no meat or animals not even eggs. fish etc. not everyone is the same... it's absolutely up to the person if they wanna eat chicken ... :)

  29. No vegetarian eats chicken.

    No vegetarian eats seafood.
