  2. ^

chinese6... correction, it's vegans who CHOOSE not to, it's not that THEY CANNOT... ;)

  3. i dont think it hurts the cow to milk it

  4. yes they can but vegans dont

  5. yes vegetarians can eat cheese and drink milk, its only vegans who cannnot

  6. not nesasarily, the milk is the same milk the calf drinks. so it doesnt really hurt it. if your a vegen you cant drink it coz its an animal product, but vegetarians can, because you didnt kill an animal to get the milk. however, most vegetarians dont because alot of farmers will give them hormones to make them produce  more milk, so you can have dairy, but i would only drink organic, because then you know there arent any extra stuff in your milk :-)

  7. The production of cheese or milk does not kill an animal.

A vegetarian is one who does not eat meat, last time I checked, cheese and milk weren't meat. So yes, many vegetarians include it in their diet. I personally only drink soy milk.

  8. Vegetarians fall into groups defined by the types of animal-derived foods they eat:

Vegans eat only plant-based foods. They don't eat foods from animals, including meat, poultry, fish, milk, eggs and cheese.

Lacto-vegetarians consume milk and milk products along with plant-based foods. They omit eggs as well as meat, fish and poultry.

Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat eggs, milk and milk products, such as cheese and yogurt, in addition to plant-based foods. They omit red meat, fish and poultry.

Flexitarians (semivegetarians) primarily follow a plant-based diet but occasionally eat small amounts of meat, poultry or fish.

And no, milking a cow does not hurt the cow.

  9. yes vegitarians can not vegans

  10. Actually it depends from the milking company. You say that it doesn't hurt the cow but many are hurt. Some companies in order to get more milk, give cows steroids, shock them, they have bad living spaces. So yeah, it depends on the company whether or not the cow is hurt. If it is organic then it is probably OK.

  11. actually it doesnt hurt the cow at all, all they do is squeeze the nipple and then the milk come s out it doesnt hurt them....so yes you can eat cheese and drink milk

  12. yh they can but vegans can't

  13. yes they can eat that.it comes from an animal but your not killing the animal
